About Us

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, my passion for baseball began while playing Little League after moving to Southern California. After winning the 1999 Colorado State Tournament with Cherry Creek High School and being named the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2000, I went on to Penn State University. Transferring to Rice University in 2001 success quickly followed with the Owls reaching the College World Series in 2002 and eventually winning the National Championship in 2003. I left Rice after being drafted in the first round of the 2003 MLB Draft to pursue a career in Major League Baseball.

After playing 10 seasons in the Major Leagues and for 14 different professional organizations I officially retired in 2018 to take a Player Development job with the Toronto Blue Jays. I worked for three years as the Toronto Blue Jays Coordinator of Player Development and Rehab Pitching Coordinator before starting Top Velocity Pro.

Over the course of my career I grew a passion for helping baseball players get better. Using Biomechanics, Training, Nutrition, Mindset, Pitch Development, High Speed Cameras, Analytics and much more I have been able to make that passion a reality.
